This program attempts to translate asteroid position data from the Minor Planet Center's Export Format for Minor-Planet Orbits to the Export Format for Comet Orbits to be used in the PlaneWave Instruments Asteroid/Comet Tracking Utility.

Asteroid and comet orbit data is available at the IAU Minor Planet Center. The complete list of asteroid orbit data, MPCORB.DAT, is very large (228MB+) and will not completely load in most browsers. Download it to your device by right-clicking on the link and selecting "Save link as." Use a text editor, such as Notepad++ to open and view the file. Find a specific asteroid, highlight the entire line of data, copy it, and then paste it below.
